While I was downtown I decided to go buy some paper and craptacular colored pencils (having NO art supplies on me this particular day)- and I went down to the Davenport Hotel to go stare at it's epic crazy shit ornateness. Had a hot chocolate and drew for a couple of hours.
GOD THERE IS TOO MUCH DETAIL IN EVERYTHING IN THAT HOTEL IT MAKES MY BRAIN HURT BUT IT'S SO LOVELY.
