THIS KID IS A GEARDO

Felt like sketching a bit before sleep, and apparently Skiis came out (Finally I suppose). Or ideas that could be Skii's final design. Maybe.

Gawd. Compared to all the other characters he carries so much effin GEAR (him and his pointy sword weapons! Also guns but not as many), I had problems figuring out where all of it is arranged so he can actually carry it all AND fight....as noted on the left. X_X. Not sure if I'm happy with that yet either. (The Big-Ass Sword gives me troubles as to how he holsters it...gawd...gonna get cries of "Cloud Strife!" from people I suppose....but I do admit he likes his BAS. =/ )

I'm content with his face/head sketches though. There's enough of his father in there, but also a bit of difference that reflects A) his goddamn cocky aloofness and B)he's not exactly like his father.

In other news, I just bought Boondock Saints II on DVD. I plan on having a marathon of brotherly movies running in the background as I finally get to work on the comic.....

Sorry I've been a little bit quiet, I was busy getting ready and then doing Spokane Comicon, didn't feel like talking much on the internet.

But, the con was yesterday, I had a GREAT time, was fun, got some exposure for my work.

Although, I kinda felt a little bit depressed that I didn't have any actual comic work done for the con. So that's what I'm doing now. I guess. I haven't talked to my friend who I'm quasi-collabing with on "Rebel Forces" for about a month now. I don't know. Kind of don't really care either, it's not like I haven't heard the tales of why that silence was before.....

And I guess I'm sick and tired of waiting, as it seems that all I do in life when I'm not at school.Wait, wait wait and more wait.

Sorry. Sick of it now. Going ahead, I guess it's going to be alone.

I may be REALLY quiet for awhile. Stay tuned.

I've been a little quiet lately because it was finals week last week- still mentally recovering from it- I had a really bad finals week this semester.

(Namely in that my comics class didn't go so well- so now I'm behind on the work I need done for the con...X_x...)

Meanwhile- have a Matt, as he is in the Prologue and Chapter 1, hopefully coming soon to a con/internet near you. I plan on making this and a menagerie of other things (those Megaman icons I made in Computer ILL, for starters) into stickers to sell at the con.

(hopefully also a mini comic....probably going to be Matt's prologue only though, as I already have most of the pages laid out, just have to tighten the pencils and ink.... but we'll see. *sigh*)
