Officer and a Gentleman

More Progress on Jason (AKA Capt. Stalham- no idea for callsign yet....)- final turnaround for design and some rough pose/expression tests that I'm doing before I make the final illustration (which has to put him in a scene/situation....and has to reflect his position as an antagonist in the story).

Currently laid out in my simple "RogueStudio" format like I made Keegan+ Matt.... but I may spruce him more up for presentation's purpose later......I have the motive to make his stuff look NICE (hopefully I can keep that energy up with the comic as well!)

WIPs EVERYWHERE.

Normally I don't show my work in progresses that much, just because I'm often too busy to do something of the sort....but.....eh, I feel like it now?

MMX Icons are going sluggishly because Illustrator is a sluggish thing to work with (at least I get overly caught up in making things look "perfect" and "clean"....)



Meanwhile, I'm also churning along on Jason's design.....a somewhat timeline of how things went along:

On top of that I sketched out ideas for his uniform...this is the final one I came up with.




Presently I'm in the process of making the final linework....it's light right now because I still have to put in details....also the Photoshopping is because on the original I accidentally drew 3/4ths view and side view the opposite way so it didn't "turn" as smoothly.....fixed that here in a snap.


Going along on it. Lunchtime and class time soon though so not sure how far I'll get tonight on either of these. Later.

In Illustration I'm using the character design assignment as an excuse to develop a character from Rebel Forces that I haven't put a DEFINITE image to yet- Jason. I only have rough stuff for that, I'll post it later when I have access to a scanner.

Meanwhile, have some cute Megaman X things....I may turn (part of them- faces?) them into icons for Computer Illustration Class. Because it's the cool thing to do- make cute and stylized Zero, X, and Sigma (BUTTFACE). XD
