So thoughts about my future, I guess......

I've decided that I want to try and going for one of my dreams for a year or two (at least)- I want to teach English in Japan....soak up some of that enviroment and culture FAR AWAY from Amerika.

Also another thought- Japanese universities seem like a hell of fun, AND they offer a scholarship that trounces anything the US has ever offered me. Master's degree there? Perhaps.

And there will be lots of temples. And trains. And manga. (Yay manga).

I guess in the next few months I'm going to be getting ready for that....gotta get startup costs to move, to go interview for some of these positions.

Maybe I might make some prints and sell them. Hmm.

Also Jack= Acadian from the Maine-Canadian border. Like Remy (Gambit), only more north and less Cajun. LOL.

A little bit of boredom design....

Rogue= Son of a family with money and power.......namely the eldest son of a father who created Asia's top military technology company.....so....obviously he went to a preppy school to beat all preppy schools.

(Also- this is a real school, but the ID design isn't...well, aside from the logo *obviously not for commercial, purposes, just fooling around....)

EDIT- and now, I have it in my wallet! (although it's just paper photo mounted on an ID I no longer use....certainly not the real deal unless you're looking at it through my Blackberry's pictures! *giggle*)

So I rediscovered a series I had forgotten about, Samurai Jack.

Then I started diddling around into what possibly made the style of Samurai Jack so great (essentially a shape, very flat based style with minimal lines)? Plus let my mind wander a bit....



The BG could need more work but then again, I spent more time than I probably SHOULD have with this (THESIS...). But it's amusing.

Apparently having no PS3 makes me draw a ton in my sketchbook instead. Also having a class where I listen to teachers yak about anthropology (boringggg) helps. This is backlogged from...eh...December or so. There's some interesting stuff I might refine if I have the time to......and man, ballpoint pen has been really amusing me lately. It forces me to screw the f up which is teaching me not to screw up as much, if that makes sense lol.

(also- full sized images all are flipped in the right orientation, but the thumbs are not for reasons I dunno)
(also also- no, the Japanese comments aren't important, and no, I am not fluent so I bet there's errors stfu my sketchbook)
